Unleash your inner artist at our upcoming Painting for Paws events on August 12th and 17th at 6 pm. Stephanie from Sharp Shoppin' will be teaching class participants how to create and paint a customized camping sign! This is just in time for Labor Day weekend camping- spruce up your camp site or create a gift for the campers in your life!

All proceeds directly benefit our Forgotten Felines program. Forgotten Felines is a public program that helps community feral and free roaming cats get spayed/neutered as well as vaccinated against rabies. This helps to greatly reduce the population of unwanted litters of kittens as well as improve the health of cat colonies.

CHS's 11th Annual Unleash Your Heart Gala!

GET YOUR TICKETS NOW! Unleash Your Heart Gala- a dazzling night out full of excitement, raising funds for animals in need! This year’s event will include dinner, a cash bar, raffles, entertainment, a silent and on-going virtual auction, and an exciting live auction!

Join us Saturday, September 30th for Cascades Humane Society’s 11th annual Unleash Your Heart Gala presented by OmniSource! The event will be at Jackson College’s Potter Center.

WINE AND WHISKERS - Through August 2023!

There is still time to get your Wine and Whiskers tickets! Summer breezes. Delicious wine. Good food. Great company. What more could you want?

Wine and Whiskers, Cascades Humane Society’s wine and food pairing event, is back this summer at Sandhill Crane Vineyards! Through the end of August, you can participate in this fun event and raise money for the animals in our care.

TICKETS
Tickets are just $35 and you receive a wine flight sampler or a full glass pour, a personal charcuterie snack plate, and a commemorative wine glass! Tickets can be redeemed any time Sandhill Crane Vineyards is open during the months of July and August. 

 

ADOPTION EVENT THIS THURSDAY AT SANDHILL CRANE VINEYARDS!

It wouldn't be Wine and Whiskers without an adoption event with adoptable pets!

During our Wine and Whisker event in July and August, CHS will be hosting adoption events on site at Sandhill Crane Vineyards. Join us for the dates below to meet some cute animals. This is a great time to redeem your Wine and Whisker tickets!

TRAINING CLASSES!

There are still a few spots left in our puppy training class that starts this weekend! Fetch Education is a 6-week puppy training course held at CHS. The class is taught by Karlie Repp, our shelter manager and member of APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers). 

Puppies under 6 months of age are welcome to register! There is also a wait list for the next set of classes (both for puppies and dog 6+ months of age).
